How is BridalOp different from BridalLive and Poppy Bridal?

BridalOp is a modern, all-in-one platform built from scratch for bridal boutiques. Unlike BridalLive's dated interface and tier-gated features, or Poppy Bridal's locked-in Gravity Payments processor, BridalOp bundles POS, online booking, inventory, invoicing, contracts, alterations, gift cards, reports, and an AI assistant into one $299/mo plan with unlimited staff and customers. Is there a setup fee?

No. Setup is free. You sign up, configure your store, and start taking appointments and sales the same day. If you want hands-on help with migrating from another system, we offer a white-glove migration service — contact us for details.

Can I import my existing customers and inventory?

Yes. BridalOp supports CSV import for customers, vendors, products, and inventory. If you're coming from BridalLive, Poppy Bridal, or Lightspeed, our team can help you map the fields. There's no extra charge for importing your own data.

Do I have to use a specific payment processor?

No. BridalOp connects to your own Stripe or Square account — your money goes straight to your bank on your existing processing rates. Unlike competitors that lock you into a proprietary gateway (BridalLive Pay, Gravity Payments), you keep control of your payments relationship.

Does the $299/mo plan include online booking?

Yes. Online appointment booking with custom forms, deposit collection, automatic reminders, and fitting room management is included in the single plan. No separate client portal fee like BridalLive (which charges $110/mo extra per location).

Can I run BridalOp on an iPad or at a trunk show?

Yes. BridalOp is a modern web app that runs on any device with a browser — iPad, iPhone, Android tablet, Windows laptop, Mac. No app install required. Many boutiques use iPads for mobile checkout and show appointments.

How are contracts and e-signatures handled?

Every plan includes digital contracts with template merge tags, e-signatures, and a full viewed/signed audit trail. Customers can sign in-store on a signature pad or remotely via a secure signing link. No extra DocuSign fees, no extra tier to unlock.

What does onboarding look like?

Sign up, complete a short store setup wizard (business info, hours, tax, fitting rooms, appointment types), import your customers and inventory via CSV, and you're live. Most boutiques are taking real appointments within 24 hours. Priority support is included if you get stuck.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. BridalOp is month-to-month — cancel anytime with no penalty. You keep access until the end of your paid period, and you can export all of your data before you go.

Is my customer data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Payment card data is handled by Stripe or Square directly — BridalOp never stores raw card numbers. Daily backups, role-based access controls, and audit logs are standard. See our Security page for full details.
